Anyway, this past month (July) has been pretty action packed. The month began with a trip down to Limrick, ME (outside of Portland) to spend the 4th of July with Kristin's family at her Aunt's house. The weather was great and we had a ton of fun swimming, fishing, eating and sitting around the fire. Her uncle had his first smore. I was tasked with playing the guitar for everyone. We also had some fireworks (sparklers).

The following week we all went to a concert by the Kruger Brother's, a guitar, banjo, bass trio playing an ecclectic mix of bluegrass and folk. The concert was held at the Deertrees Theater, a restored barn theater. It really was an incredible concert; the high point being during the encore when the band played Kristin's requested song. I'm not sure if it was the stuffy theater or my dinner, but afterwards on the ride home I got sick and we had to make a few roadside stops so I could throw up. It was a very long ride home.
The following weekend I spent a few days in Vermont with my buddies Matt and Sam. Matt's parents have a timeshare for a few weeks in Killington, VT and they let their kids use a few days in the summer. So we spent some time catching up and getting into trouble. Well, we thought we did. Matt got stitches running from The Man. I miss those guys.
